THE
VISION of Anchorage Vineyard Church is to "build
people to build the world that God wants." To effect this vision,
we have four goals:
Establish
an exciting and effective church in Anchorage that is making disciples
of Jesus by gathering, restoring, training and empowering people
to influence others for Jesus Christ.
Impact
Anchorage by mobilizing people to work together to demonstrate
the love and power of God and to bring people into a life-changing
relationship with him.
Become
a resource and training center that will plant and nurture churches
in Alaska, the Pacific Rim and the rest of the world.
Develop
and model Christian leadership and ministry styles for the 21st
Century.
WE
WILL
accomplish these goals by:
Creating
a safe environment of love, acceptance and forgiveness.
Becoming
a community that emphasizes healing and growth.
Using
small groups to develop Christian character and ministry skills.
Forming
relationships based on openness and transparency.
Being
a contemporary and relevant example of life in Christ.
Demonstrating
both the words and works of Jesus.
Our willingness
to serve as well as to have fun and enjoy life.
